Visiting Professorship in Hungary

In May, 2024, Ava Borrasso C.Arb completed a two-week visiting professorship at the University of Debrecen, the oldest institution of higher education in Hungary (operating continuously since 1538). Her topic addressed “International Commercial Arbitration – Legal Framework and Practical Usage.” A diverse and engaging group of international law and LLM students attended from Georgia, Hungary, Iran, Syria, Turkey, Russia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Romania, and Pakistan, by way of example.

The visiting professorship was coordinated with the Center for International Legal Studies based in Salzburg, Austria and Dr. Tamas Fezer at the University of Debrecen.
